The Tricks Party format is fast, spectator-friendly, competitive , and fun , and it typically attracts some of the best flyers in the U.S. More info can be found here: http://www.trickspartyusa.com/index.shtml (I'm hoping to be there. Given the inland venue, I'm working on a brazenly retro, light-wind routine flying the Desire UL--full of flat spins, slides, stalls, and a couple of 360s.)
