Hi,

someone tuned his FK allready (frame, bridle,...)?
How much weight do you use or changed the setup in any way?

It's curious, it does nice and easy Yofades and Crazycopters, but some "standardmoves" are kind of strange (for me) to do. I think there is some more potential in this kite as it shows allready.

Mike

Hey Mike,

What standard moves are difficult for you?

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris,

some axel- and fade-based tricks, maybe it's the huge tail weight (25-35g), the factory setup seems very pitchy. But that wouldn't be the first kite, I have to modify to my (smoother) style.

lately I looked back on the '06 prototype pictures and recognized some changes, like the single standoff (pretty long one), but also the center-T (and maybe lower spreader?) and the new weightsystem.
Is there a reason, it got a full-pultruded-frame? I think a P200-frame, like the Techno got, wouldn't be that bad either, at least as lower spreader (and a onepiece-LE). 11oz isn't also that lightweight for a 7' kite. But I think, it would be a cool kite for a "pro-version", with some more features of his big brother, the FC.

I've never been a fan of tail weights.

These FC are made at a different factory. Hence, the difference in the hardware. Framing it with P-200s or other wrapped framed would have jacked the price up quite a bit.

I doubt there will ever be a pro-version. But that doesn't stop you or others from reframing the kite to suite your tastes.

Best regards,

Chris
