Sup Chris,

Living the dream in Wildwoods. Did you know they've change the name...added the s. Things are changing here. Rio is still standing, but it is empty. People are staying in a score of different motels. Nice weather and people. The beach is huge and the skies are painted with lots of kites. Kitelife is the place to go for now. We've got some nice picks we'll post on Monday.

Until then, fly on

Chris

I know its kind of late, Ive been re editing video since we returned.

Wildwood was awesome! Chris was visiting an account down in Maryland, called me and we invited him up here to PA (3.5hour drive) so it was his first time here at our house. Weve known each other since the early 90s and have been working together since he joined NTK in 2001 or so....
Anyway, Chris, my wife Jenny and I went to wildwood.
I used to go all of the time, for comp, I used to run the Retail tent for a few years, anyway it was the place of many memories. Jen and I went there 2 years ago for about an hour, and didnt go last year at all. The festival had lost its appeal to us.

This year it was the 20th. Had to go. The Kite Loft of OC maryland was there as they have been for the last few years, the last couple of years they have been really supporting our products both in thier store location and the tent, so it was time to go back and support them!

And that we did.

It was great seeing alot of our old friends again, Roger was lucky with the weather once again. I think it was 3 years ago it was raining everywhere but at the south wildwood beach, 2 mile inland, rain, roger is lucky that way with his festivals.

Basically for Chris and I, the Kite loft sold kites and sent fliers out to the field where we set them up and taught them. There were some who didnt buy, but we taught them anyway.

We shared the field with out competitors, our friends, Premier kites. GO fly was there for a little while, and Prism never showed up, so it was cool and we helped each other out, it was a very pleasant experience.

Worked some more on the french Connection, and then it was time for the Banquet, if you read about the award, welll, after that I was is shock until we left so.....

it was a great wildwood!

Just a footnote to your comment about Prism not showing up... Michael Moore - Prism sponsored flyer was on the field and providing hands on training to kite hungry folks... Mike always does a great job and loves to share his knowledge.

You know, Mark could not make it, and Mike was off in the other corner so we forgot he was there. The rest of us were together helping each other.

Thanks for clearing that up

We've put some Wildwood pictures up on our gallery. View them at https://newtechkites.com/NTK_Photo_Gallery04.htm.

Here is one of my favorites. Anyone care to create the caption?
