Hi all,
I'm looking for a decent entry level kite, and I think I've found it in the Cherry Bomb. The things that get me most interested in the Cherry Bomb are its low wind rating and low price. Here in Fresno, we don't always get a lot of wind, and it seems like a minimum wind rating of 3mph would allow me a lot more flying time.
Anyways, I found this picture of a Cherry Bomb with a color scheme that I like very much, but I can't find this color listed on the NTK web site or at any retailers. It looks like the "Skorch," but not quite. Is this a special color or one that is yet to be released?
I'd appreciate your helping a newbie.
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken,
It is the Scorch. Photos and monitors are rarely calibrated to real life colors. Enjoy the kite.

If you go to my WebShots and my Kite Bag link you'll see a pic of the Ember Cherry Bomb. I really like the Ember color scheme. Actually has some green to it but my pic shows it mostly blue and black. Looks very nice in the sky and is very fun to fly.....Especially for a 1st kite it's VERY durable _________________ http://community.webshots.com/user/mau_cd |

Thanks for your input guys. I really like that Ember Cherry Bomb too. Looks nice. Nice sea kayak by the way.
Thanks again,

I think the real kite looks a bit better. Even more so with the sun on it.
I bought my son one from this eBay store:
