Thanks for asking!

In most cases it is not necessary to change your bridle. The factory setting works well in most conditions.

Adjusting the bridle is something you will need to experiment with, as people have different tastes.

By moving the tow point toward the nose (raising the bridle) the kite will pull less and fly in lighter winds. The turning radius will widen and the kite will be less responsive.

By moving the tow point toward the tail (lowering the bridle) the kite will pull more, be more responsive and require more wind to fly.

As a general rule, raise the bridle in light winds and lower the bridle in higher winds.

Remember, when adjusting the bridle, only do so in increments of .25 inches at a time and equally on both side. The bridle can be highly sensitive so a little change can have a dramatic effect.

Experiment and have fun. Just remember where the factory setting is. It should be marked.

Cheers!

Chris
