For the first time my husband and I got his kite out a full 500 feet. She flew so smooth. The question we have now is, is there a "clip" we can buy or make to keep at the end of our line that hooks to the kite. Tieing a knot every time seems to be a pain verses a clip we could hook right to the kite.

Thanks all.
Vicki

Snap swivels work great. You can find them anywhere that sell fishing tackle supplies. Be aware of the strength of the swivel, as they have weight ratings as flying line does.

At the very least, match the swivel strength to the line strength.
Rough guide
Small kites, diamonds = 30#
4 - 6' deltas = 50#
Best to look at the line recommendation for your kite.

Cheers,

Chris

The only problem with that is that I have 3 holes.....for different wind speeds, so I may have to change where the kite line goes from one day to the next.
