Is there any word from Steve about a possible Spirit2 coming out, or maybe a whole new quad? _________________ Kitebag:

I honestly don't think so. I spoke with Steve on the phone a few weeks ago, the day before he was going back to Hawaii, to work on the set of the show "Lost". And Steve never mentioned anything about a new version of the Spirit. I doubt Steve has had time to do any new designing the past 2-3 years, because he's been in Hawaii doing special effects makeup work on the show "Lost". _________________ Troy Gunn - TKO Sport Kite Team - USA

I am intested in purchasing a spirit quad, however the few reviews I've come across have been very mixed, especially when it comes to the kites wind range and durability.
Also the fact that not many people seem to own this kite, make me even more cautious.
I have a Rev1.5 SLE, how does it compare? (I"m well aware the REV if far more precise and more capable, but a comparison in flight characteristics can be a useful guage)
I just don't want to buy the kite, only to be dissapointed and it land up in the attic gathering dust.
Since a few of you own and hopefully still fly this kite, your advice and recommendation would be gratefully appreciated. |
