It's fall and that means the start of another competition season for the Eastern League.

If you can make it, drop by the Outer Banks Sport Kite Competition on Oct. 21-22. The event is at the Wright Brother's National Memorial in Nags Head. Single line kites, games and kite making for kids, and some great sport kite competition will be in the offing. See www.kittyhawk.com for more info.

I'll be there (competing with a French Connection, winds permitting). I also hear Chris Shultz is planning to be there as well.

I'd also encourage you to look at the calendar for the Eastern League (www.easternleague.net) for some great kite events being held up and down the East coast this year. Cool kites:P, cool people , and cool competition . What more could you want?

I'll be there! Hard to believe it has been 20 years.
New Tech Kites will be sponsoring a welcome party on Friday night 6 pm (5101 South Virgina Dare Trail in Nags Head) and will be providing free kite flying lessons on the field of the Wright Brothers Memorial during the event.
