All kitefliers are invited to join us at this informal fun event--

Excellent Chance to Party!!! and fly high!!

When??-- January 13/14 2007 10AM- til 4PM

Where??-- Rockport Beach Park kite circle--parking pass required, no
pets allowed in the park--it is a bird sanctuary!!

What?? Great Texas kite Club party-- just a fun fly time with all the
Texas clubs--sport kites, single line biggie kites, hey-- maybe even
fighter kites???

Oh yeah we got a family style group cookout dinner for Sat nite--we
ask a $5.00 per person donation for the "grocery bill"-- most likely
will have an indoor facility due to cool weather--picnics would be
too "chilly" -- maybe some warm drinks?? bring your own favorites--
mine is a "spiked" Kona coffee!! We will plan on starting at 6PM and
stay til ??? night fly??? maybe if it is warm enough??!!

one thing is for sure!!-- fellowship and flying with good folks from
all over Texas--as it should be!!!

725 Water Street -- south of downtown on the water, they have
large "family style" suites --(2 Queens + a sofa bed/ 2 rooms)
and kitchenettes--(one Queen and 2 bunk beds)

We wanted one large property to hold us all-- but due to the "winter
Texan" poppulation this time of year it was impossible to get a
commited property.
