Please read and reply to their contact information listed below if you are interested in attending their festival or your team is interested in competing.

Below is the letter about Weifang Kite Festival, please read and reply as soon as possible.

Mr. Liu Zhiping of the Executive Committee of Weifang International Kite Festival wrote:

Dear friends:
    The 24th Weifang International Kite Festival will be held in April 2007 in Weifang and the opening ceremony will still be on April 20th. The main events during the kite festival include grant opening ceremony, wonderful performance, the 3rd World Kite Championship, Sports Kite Team Invitation Competition, ten-thousand people flying performance, Weifang Kite Competition, exquisite kite exhibitions, prize ceremony, sightseeing tour, etc. Weifang Kite Organizing Committee will provide your accommodations, meals, and inside city transportation during your stay in Weifang.
   The theme of this year's kite festival is: "Kites Fly Olympics". We plan to hold the ceremony to welcome foreign kite teams and launch kites-fly-Olympics campaign in Beijing (the events of this activity are not finalized yet).
   There are many events and activities in this year's 2007 kite festival, and therefore the length of festival will be longer than usual (the approximate date is from Apr. 17th to 25th 2007). As the scheme of the festival has not settled finalized yet, the event details and schedule will be informed by way of formal invitation letters very soon.    So far we have received a lot of letters from the kite enthusiasts in many countries and they hope they can join the 2007 Weifang Internatinal Kite Festival. In order to satisfy the requirements of the applicants (you) to the largest extent, organize the events more effectively, and enlarge the scale of the festival, we want to get the following information about the applicants, and please inform us as soon as possible.

5. The name of your kite organization or team (if have).

6. The expected number of the participants(up to 6 members of your team or group).

7. The introduction of the kite involved in the competition (photo).

c) Inflatable Kite Flying Competition.( no frame).

I just returned from the 24th Weifang Intl Kite Festival and 3rd world kite championships, where I was the chief judge for the sport kite team championships. In the sport kite team event, my good friend Lantree's team "Current Chasing" from Shen Zhen, China placed 1st out of 11 teams. 2nd place went to a team from Xiamen. Xiamen is where the factory is for New Tech Kites. 3rd place went to a Thailand team.
