|
|
The bridle on my pyro xs is tied just above the center tee.
I have seen a few photos where it looks like the bridle goes under the tee.
I should have a new center tee coming from new tech because mine is sp;it where it wraps the spine.
So my question is this...does the bridle go above or under the center tee. please tell me its above, id hate to mess around with it.
thanks _________________ Chris Christian

If you look at the picture of the Xs on ed's site, he has a close up of the center Tee. His bridle looks to be underneath it. BUT.. wont the bridle rub the rubber band if it is there?
I wish i looked at mine before i had center tee problems lol.
it is tied on the top but pulled under the tee.. or is that just to get it out of the way for the picture? _________________ Chris Christian

also....the wingtip tensioner and leechlines kept coming off the LE. so i tightened them both up. Im not sure if i have them too tight or not. any suggestions on how tight they should be? the wingtip tensioners are pretty darn tight now. _________________ Chris Christian

Hi, the leading edges should be tight. The bridle on the newer style kites should come off from above the Center T position. In the past it came from underneath. Your right, it rubs if it comes from underneath,
Hope that helps

actually chris the close up picture of my Pxs center T the bridle is above the center T look again very closely http://community.webshots.com/photo/261680366/279265797OQEOJF
so put the bridle knot above the center t when you get the new center t. heres a pic of the wing tip http://community.webshots.com/photo/261680366/279266155CxLFXd
when i got the pxs the leechline(white line) was too large so i had to readjust it..what i did was rather then have it like a loop and loop around the nock i put a knot at the end of the leechline and i stick that into the knot. the tensioner(black line) should be as tight as it can just stick the second knot into the nock..the leechline shouldnt be too too tight it should be rather snuggled...not too loose but not too tight. if you put it too tight it'll alter the shape of the kite like it did to me lol _________________ http://community.webshots.com/user/ed_diaz1497 |
