Thanks Chris for getting me setup here!
I just ordered me a Cherry Bomb yesterday and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. Hoping it will be here by the weekend.
Anyway, I have only ever flown stunt kites on one occasion many years ago but I had a ball.
My daughter recently saw some single line kites at the park and went crazy for them. So I bought her a cheap diamond kite that we've been flying the past couple weekends. This reminded me of the time I flew stunt kites so I thought I should give it a go again.
I did a lot of Internet research and came to the conclusion that the CB is probably one of the best values going.
Great forum btw! Did a lot of reading before I registered. Have a lot more to do.

Very helpful Chris.
Got an email that the Scorch CB I ordered was out of stock so I had to 'settle' for the spark color. No biggie as it was a coin toss anyway.
Still hoping to have it by the weekend.
Already looking at a second kite.

Welcome Grego,
You will really like the Cherry Bomb. It was my first kite to learn on. I had it out again the other day and still find it fun to fly.
I see you are looking for your second kite already. Give the CB some time to learn the basics. My second kite was the Techno and this was the kite I learned to axel and fade then progressed on to other tricks (and other kites).
Anyway welcome to the forum and ask away if you have any questions.

Thanks Schook!
My CB arrived yesterday so my girl and I headed out to our park. Unfortunately it was soccer day. So no flying today.
We are going to try again tomorrow. |

Greg,
Welcome to sport kite flying and to this forum
Of special interest to you, since you are new to the sport, and own a Cherry Bomb, please read the other new Cherry Bomb topic thread. In there, I explain to another new Cherry Bomb owner, about bridle adjustment, and adjustment markings. You may find the info useful.
Where are you from?
