Just wondering which dual line kite is the fastest.

Right now I have the Spirit and Cherry bomb (as well as some older kites from other manufacturers) but I want to get the absolute fastest kite Newtech sells.

Not sure which kite is the "fastest". I don't believe there is a dramatic difference between most designs. Larger kites tend to move and turn a little slower. Weight plays a part in this. I welcome anyone elses feedback on the subject.

There are a lot of variables that can influence a sport kite's forward flight speed, such as, width and height size, wind velocity, sail depth, line strength, line length, frame spar size, leading edge shape. The fastest speed ever recorded by a delta shape stunt kite is about 80 mph in strong winds. The fastest speed by any modern era stunt kite is the 4 ft or 6ft Flexifoil. In the early 90's a custom made 6 ft flexifoil kite flown on 100 ft of 300 lb line, in 27-28 mph wind at the tail end of Hurricane Hugo, was recorded flying at a speed of 120 mph forward speed. The guys name is Pete Diacomo (spelling?).

To answer your question about which New Tech Kite is the fastest. The Desire UL flown in 12-15 mph winds is very fast! The Techno, New Jam, Pyro, Dynamite are all close to the same speed. The French Connection and old Firestorm are wider wings are are noticeably slower.

Best Tracking NTK are the French Connection (from what I've heard), and the Techno.
